Oscars are amongst the larger of the South American Cichlids and they live for 8 to 12 years if cared for properly. They are very popular with many aquarists due to their individual personalities and the way that they will interact with their owners.

Special Requirements: Although easy to keep, Oscars are messy and grow fast. Quality filtration is a must and a minimum of 100 litres per Oscar is necessary to house adult fish
